Similarity Report Exclusions
Turnitin allows you to exclude specific content from similarity reports, such as bibliographies, quotes, or small matches, to refine the originality check and provide a more accurate assessment.
- Exclude Quotes and Bibliography
Excludes text appearing in a bibliography, works cited, or reference sections of student papers from being checked for matches. Note: You can overwrite this setting in individual Similarity Reports. - Exclude Sources
Excludes text appearing in the quotes from being checked for matches. Note: You can overwrite this setting in individual Similarity Reports. - Exclude Sources via All Sources
Exclude small sources from the Similarity Report by a set number of words or a percentage. Turnitin looks at the size of a matching source and makes any necessary exclusions based on the threshold specified. - View Excluded Sources
