Training
Learning Systems sponsors a variety of workshops and events for faculty, staff and students. Some events are hosted by VCU departments such as VCU Online for Faculty, the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence (CTLE), Technology Services, as well as Learning Systems and other Academic Technologies teams.

Faculty Training Requests
These trainings are offered virtually in 30 minute increments.
When requesting a training please enter, in the description box, whether this will be a 1:1 or departmental/group training, as well as, the nature of the training needed (i.e a Canvas overview, a particular feature, embedding video, etc.) For departmental/group requests, it is encouraged that you pick a time where you can grab two consecutive sessions.
If the offered times do not fit in your schedule feel free to email us so that we can set up a time that works for you. To cancel a request, simply adjust the calendar invite or email lsrequest@vcu.edu.
Note: This training is intended for faculty who want to learn how to use the instructional tools supported by Learning Systems (i.e. Canvas and Kaltura).
